“Creativity takes courage.” – Henri Matisse

I am so excited for this year’s Art Classes. I like to think of myself as a "Teacher of creativity". My classroom is considered my Art Lab where I encourage my students to think outside the box and push themselves outside their comfort zones.  In class students will learn many different aspects of Art such as painting, shading, learning Value, Texture, Form, Space, and many more. The students will also learn about all the Elements of Art as well as the Principles of Design.  Students are encouraged to participate in opportunities outside of the classroom by entering Art Competitions in our area. This year we have our Rodeo Art, Art Festival, and many more. I hope to have a great year with the students! I can't wait to see what they create!
